Easy Installation

• Remove the packaging and caps of from the filter. 
• Locate filter holder at the base or in the interior of your refrigerator.
• Remove the old filter and wipe any excess water left in the refrigerator filter holder.
• Slide in the new one, make sure it clicks, and close the cover.
• Important: Thoroughly run the filter 3-5 gallons to avoid sputtering and remove impurities. You may hear a loud air pressure sound at first but this is normal. 

Refrigerator water filter light

• The light is typically a timer meant to remind you to change your filters every 3-6 months. On the other hand, some filter lights do have the light determined by water usage. Please check with your refrigerator to determine this. 
• If the light comes on quicker than anticipation, this is likely due to the timer not being reset and red light may not be valid.
• Once the red light comes on, this does not mean the filter cannot be used anymore or that the water is not being filtered. It is just telling you should replace the filter as soon as possible.
